Global Design Project #162

I'm back again...after a couple of weeks of not participating in the Global Design Project challenge, I finally had chance this week to join in.

So here is the sketch.

And here is my take on the sketch challenge.

I made a little gift bag using our gift bag punch board, which I then embossed using our new Subtle embossing folder. As the name suggests, it gives a subtle effect, but I do love a bit of texture, so it was an easy sell for me!

Contact me if you are in Australia and would like to place an order.

Until next time!

Global Design Project #159

It's school holidays here in Australia, and I've had such a great time in the studio over the last week. The weather here in Sydney has been quite miserable, so I don't feel so guilty about indulging in some "stamping therapy"

So onto this weeks challenge over at the Global Design Project. This week the challenge is a theme, and the theme is "Fall in Love"

And here is my entry for this week.

I was totally inspired by Steffi Helmschrott's entry into this weeks challenge. I absolutely LOVE Steffi's work, it is simply stunning!

Thank-you once again to the team over at Global Design Project for another fabulous challenge this week #GDP159

I used all Stampin' Up! products, which I have listed below.

-Painted Harvest stamp set
-Swirly Frames stamp set
-Crumb Cake cardstock & ink
-Soft Suede cardstock & ink
-Very Vanilla cardstock
-Pear Pizzazz ink
-Wood Textures 6x6 DSP
-Linen Thread
-Wink of Stella

Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to place an order for any Stampin' Up! products, or if you'd like a catalogue mailed out to you.

Thanks for stopping by.

Global Design Project #133

It's been a busy few weeks here, and the highlight must have been the chance to attend OnStage local here in Sydney.

It took place at Luna Park last Saturday, and we had a BLAST!!

It is my idea of heaven, being in a room full of approx. 400 other people who are also Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
As this is demonstrator only event, I always feel so very lucky to be able to attend, and we are absolutely spoilt rotten by Stampin' Up! We get to take home SO many new goodies, and of course the much awaited annual catalogue. And we also get the opportunity to purchase new product before anyone else!

And I got to chat with Stampin' Up! CEO...the gorgeous and very sweet Sara Douglass. And here is a little snap of her and I together last Saturday.

So if you too would like the wonderful opportunity to attend an OnStage event and have lots of fun along the way, craft, meet new friends and get your hands on new product...please contact me, I'd love you to join my team, I promise you won't regret it!

I will share with you some new creations I have made using some new product in another post soon.

But over to this weeks Global Design Project challenge.

This week we have a colour challenge...and as usual, I had a lot of fun creating it. And chose to use one of my most favourite stamp sets in our annual catalogue Coffee Cafe.

I made a full sized card and also a gift card to go with it.

And I "lightened up" the Night of Navy starburst shape by gently sponging it with some Whisper White craft ink, as I felt like it needed to be slightly lighter than the tea cup.

(just like this!)

And you might even spy a new type of twine on this little gift card.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project #127

A new week...another challenge over at the Global Design Project

And this weeks challenge is a theme challenge. The theme being Sale-a- bration!

Oh how I adore Sale-a-bration time at Stampin' Up!

For those of you who don't know, Sale-a-bration is the time of year with Stampin' Up! that when you purchase $90 worth of product, you get to choose a freebie...yep that's right...a freebie!!!

For this card I have used the "Amazing You" stamp set....which is a SAB (Sale-a-bration) stamp set. Which means you can earn this stamp set for FREE is you place a qualifying order of $90 or more.

This stamp set is simply stunning, and I'm pretty sure it is one that I will be using quite a lot.

I chose to stamp on watercolour paper, so I could use our fabulous ink and aqua painter to achieve that soft watercolour effect, which I love so much.

Thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project 126

Welcome to my little corner of the paper crafting world. It seems like it has been an absolute eon (and I am sure it has been) since I last posted...and participated over at the Global Design Project.

So this just felt like the week to make a 'come back' to blogging land and jump into making a card for this weeks challenge over at GDP!

This week is a sketch challenge

And here is my entry for this week. I had a stack of fun creating this one, as it was the stamp set that we found in our gorgeous goodie bag in November at OnStage.

With this challenge I got to embrace my love of bright, fun colours. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I have used lots of new goodies from the latest Occasions Catalogue.
You can view the PDF here. And if you would like one sent out to you, please contact me and I will be happy to pop one into the post for you!

To create this fun card, I have used the new - "Picture Perfect Birthday" stamp set. And as it's photopolymer, it is super easy to use and position your stamped image onto your project. I've also had fun with the embellishments. Some new ones I have used are - "Tutti frutti adhesive backed sequins" (how fun are they!!!) a couple of "white perfect accents" and some of the new "glitter and clear epoxy shapes" (of which I have only used the clear ones) and for a pop of pink...I have added a small "melon mambo enamel shape"

And check out that fabulous new embossing folder...."simple stripes"also found in the new Occasions Catalogue.

This new catalogue is SO fabulous! If you don't have one in your hot little hands already, please contact me and I will send you one. And if you place a $50 order (exc. postage) from the new catalogue with me, I'll pop a selection of some new accessories in the post for you!

Ooh so exciting!

Thanks for stopping by
