I was very excited to wake this morning to the news that I was one of the selected winners over at the Global Design Project this week.

See my previous post for details of the challenge...

But here is the card and gift card I made for it.

Now onto this weeks challenge!

Global Design Project #133

It's been a busy few weeks here, and the highlight must have been the chance to attend OnStage local here in Sydney.

It took place at Luna Park last Saturday, and we had a BLAST!!

It is my idea of heaven, being in a room full of approx. 400 other people who are also Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
As this is demonstrator only event, I always feel so very lucky to be able to attend, and we are absolutely spoilt rotten by Stampin' Up! We get to take home SO many new goodies, and of course the much awaited annual catalogue. And we also get the opportunity to purchase new product before anyone else!

And I got to chat with Stampin' Up! CEO...the gorgeous and very sweet Sara Douglass. And here is a little snap of her and I together last Saturday.

So if you too would like the wonderful opportunity to attend an OnStage event and have lots of fun along the way, craft, meet new friends and get your hands on new product...please contact me, I'd love you to join my team, I promise you won't regret it!

I will share with you some new creations I have made using some new product in another post soon.

But over to this weeks Global Design Project challenge.

This week we have a colour challenge...and as usual, I had a lot of fun creating it. And chose to use one of my most favourite stamp sets in our annual catalogue Coffee Cafe.

I made a full sized card and also a gift card to go with it.

And I "lightened up" the Night of Navy starburst shape by gently sponging it with some Whisper White craft ink, as I felt like it needed to be slightly lighter than the tea cup.

(just like this!)

And you might even spy a new type of twine on this little gift card.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project #127

A new week...another challenge over at the Global Design Project

And this weeks challenge is a theme challenge. The theme being Sale-a- bration!

Oh how I adore Sale-a-bration time at Stampin' Up!

For those of you who don't know, Sale-a-bration is the time of year with Stampin' Up! that when you purchase $90 worth of product, you get to choose a freebie...yep that's right...a freebie!!!

For this card I have used the "Amazing You" stamp set....which is a SAB (Sale-a-bration) stamp set. Which means you can earn this stamp set for FREE is you place a qualifying order of $90 or more.

This stamp set is simply stunning, and I'm pretty sure it is one that I will be using quite a lot.

I chose to stamp on watercolour paper, so I could use our fabulous ink and aqua painter to achieve that soft watercolour effect, which I love so much.

Thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project 126

Welcome to my little corner of the paper crafting world. It seems like it has been an absolute eon (and I am sure it has been) since I last posted...and participated over at the Global Design Project.

So this just felt like the week to make a 'come back' to blogging land and jump into making a card for this weeks challenge over at GDP!

This week is a sketch challenge

And here is my entry for this week. I had a stack of fun creating this one, as it was the stamp set that we found in our gorgeous goodie bag in November at OnStage.

With this challenge I got to embrace my love of bright, fun colours. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I have used lots of new goodies from the latest Occasions Catalogue.
You can view the PDF here. And if you would like one sent out to you, please contact me and I will be happy to pop one into the post for you!

To create this fun card, I have used the new - "Picture Perfect Birthday" stamp set. And as it's photopolymer, it is super easy to use and position your stamped image onto your project. I've also had fun with the embellishments. Some new ones I have used are - "Tutti frutti adhesive backed sequins" (how fun are they!!!) a couple of "white perfect accents" and some of the new "glitter and clear epoxy shapes" (of which I have only used the clear ones) and for a pop of pink...I have added a small "melon mambo enamel shape"

And check out that fabulous new embossing folder...."simple stripes"also found in the new Occasions Catalogue.

This new catalogue is SO fabulous! If you don't have one in your hot little hands already, please contact me and I will send you one. And if you place a $50 order (exc. postage) from the new catalogue with me, I'll pop a selection of some new accessories in the post for you!

Ooh so exciting!

Thanks for stopping by

Global Design Project #093

This week over at the Global Design Project, we are playing with a colour challenge. These types of challenges are actually a favourite of mine, as I adore playing with colour!
And this week we get to play with two of the new In-Colours - Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. Fabulous names aren't they?!
And here is my entry this week.

I used the fabulous "Happy Birthday Gorgeous"stamp set, the new "oh my stars" embossing folder (I can see this one getting LOTS of use!),  and the great new "colour theory DSP paper stack" which comes in a super handy size of 6 x 6 inches, and each pack has 48 sheets in it, which makes it great value at only $17.50

Until next time....thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project #092

I have been having some trouble with technology the last few weeks. Hubby bought me a new laptop for Mother's Day and since then, I have had some trouble with sending photos from my phone to my laptop. Now that I think I have it figured out...I can upload photos for this weeks design challenge over at the Global Design Project

I am entering in the last couple of hours today! Eeeek!!!

But here it is...

I had better fly and get some more chores done.

See you again soon, and thanks for stopping by.

Global Design Project #088

Here we are again...another week another challenge to participate over at the fabulous Global Design Project

And this week we are CASEing the designer...and this week it is the work of the fabulously talented Shawn de Oliveira. I love Shawn's style, it is so clean and stylish...and how great is it having a man here in the stamping world!

And here is the beautiful card that Shawn has made to give us all inspiration for our own creations.

And here is my entry to this weeks challenge. I hope you like it, it was a super quick one for me to create this time...as I could here Kylie Bertucci's voice in my head saying "just stick it down". Thanks Kylie!

 Thanks for stopping by.

See you again soon!

Global Design Project #087

I missed playing along with the Global Design Project last week, as we had a SUPER busy week here  in our little cottage.

But I was looking forward to playing along again this week.

This weeks challenge has a theme, and the theme is 'cooking, baking & making'

As someone who enjoys baking and gifting homemade treats, this one really tickled my fancy!

So I decided to create a little gift bag for home baked goodies.

I hope you like it.

Happy baking lovelies!!

Thanks for visiting

A quick one today…my entry for this weeks Global Design Project challenge.
This week is number 85 of the challenges, and it's a colour challenge, so it's one of my favourites…as I absolutely LOVE colour!

We were asked to choose 3 of our favourite colours from those below…so I chose, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron & Tip Top Taupe.

I hope you like it.
