Kylie's International Blog Highlight April 2017

You may have already noticed…at the moment I am challenging myself to take part in more design challenges.

This challenge is run by the lovely Kylie Bertucci (who happens to be the No.1 Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Australia, and 8th in the world!! Impressive hey)

It is a monthly challenge and this is the first time I will be playing along. The theme for this month was "Wedding", and as I don't make too many wedding cards usually, this really was a challenge for me.

I decided to stick with using Very Vanilla, with a touch of gold and a splash of Blushing Bride…which  I thought was fitting ;)

I made both a card and an opening gift tag, as I figured the card usually goes into an envelope, so all the prettiness is hidden! So this way, there is a little something pretty on the outside of the gift too.

To vote for me please go to this link
And by voting for me, it will up my chances of being able to participate in a fabulous international blog hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci.

Thanks for your support and thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project #081

Another week…another entry for the Global Design Project. This week they are up to #081, and this week it was a colour challenge.

This one I found quite tricky…but I have vowed to keep going with these challenges so I can stretch my creativity. And I must admit, I look forward to the upcoming challenge each week.

As you can see, we had to use Night of Navy, Whisper White and one other colour.
So the one other colour I chose was Wild Wasabi.
I am a very big fan of green, so I am very lucky that Stampin' Up! has such a great range of greens to choose from at the moment.

Once again, a bit thank-you to the organisers and designers over at the Global Design Project for allowing us to participate each week. You guys rock!

Thanks for stopping by!

Global Design Project #030

Another week another challenge over at the Global Design Project.

Again this week…like I did the other week, I am getting this card to do double duty! Another win-win!

As soon as I saw the sketch for this weeks challenge I knew that I was going to use it to make a card for a very special little nephew of mine who has just had his 1st birthday. Yippee!!! 1st birthdays are the best, don't you think?!

I really love the colour combination and tried to make it a fun card by adding some texture with the candy dots, twine and a fun fringe.
I hope he likes it!

I hope to join in again next week over at the Global Design Project and I hope you can join me!

Until next week!

Global Design Project #028

Here we go again…it's time for another Global Design Project challenge, and this one is number 28. This is only the second time that I have participated, but I certainly do love taking part!

I used the opportunity to make my card do 'double duty', being that it would be a birthday card for my lovely mum (whose birthday this year falls on Easter Saturday) and be my entry into this weeks challenge over at the Global Design Project. Win-win I say!!!

So here it is…

I must admit that I did actually find this challenge quite…well…challenging. But overall I am happy with the result, and I hope my mum is too

I have used Stampin' Up! "Cottage Greetings" stamp set
and the "Pretty Petals" DSP stack, such a lovely combo in my book.

Have a great weekend!

Stampin' Up! fun….

Today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite creations from the last 12 months.

I must admit I had a ball making each and every one of them, and I always look forward to making more and more.

And I especially enjoy pushing myself to get the most our of my Stampin' Up products.

They really are so very versatile and easy to use. Which makes it so very easy to make beautiful paper pieces which you can share with your friends and family.
A sweet little card for a special niece and god-daughter using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set "Honeycomb Happiness"

A pretty card with some water colouring using the "Birthday Blooms" stamp set

A fun and bright card for a boy using the "Amazing Birthday" stamp set

A little bit of fun with the "Curvy Keepsake" die

A fun little bag using the "Mini-treat bag" framelits

A little christmas wreath, only about 15cm across (apologies for the poor photo quality)

A birthday set using the "Butterfly Basics" & the "Butterflies Thinlits dies"

detail of previous photo

Father's Day card…inspired by the lovely Teneale Williams, and using the "Tap, Tap, Tap" stamp set

12"x12" scrapbook page

Honeycomb Happiness : SALE-A-BRATION 2016

Well it's that time of year again…the best time in the Stampin' Up! calendar to pick yourself up a freebie!

Yep, that's right…for every $90 you spend you get to select a freebie from a gorgeous range of stamp sets and accessories. So if you place a $90 order you get one freebie, but if you place a $180 order you get two freebies…and so on.

So if you have been thinking about placing a Stampin' Up! order, please contact me before the end of March so you can take advantage of this awesome offer!

And while I'm chatting about the gorgeousness of the stamp sets in Sale-a-Bration, I thought that I had better share with you one of my cards I made with the very cute "Honeycomb Happiness" stamp set.

I must admit, that when I first laid eyes on the new SAB brochure this stamp set was at the top of my list, and I hope you can see why!

Contact me to place your order today!
