Here we go again…it's time for another Global Design Project challenge, and this one is number 28. This is only the second time that I have participated, but I certainly do love taking part!
I used the opportunity to make my card do 'double duty', being that it would be a birthday card for my lovely mum (whose birthday this year falls on Easter Saturday) and be my entry into this weeks challenge over at the Global Design Project. Win-win I say!!!
So here it is…
I must admit that I did actually find this challenge quite…well…challenging. But overall I am happy with the result, and I hope my mum is too
I have used Stampin' Up! "Cottage Greetings" stamp set
and the "Pretty Petals" DSP stack, such a lovely combo in my book.
Have a great weekend!
xx Manda
I love your interpretation of my card Amanda, and Happy Birthday Amanda's Mum! Thanks so much for joining in with the Global Design Project this week and for CASEing my card!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess! Your card is SO gorgeous! I always enjoy looking at your blog posts. Thank you for inspiring me. xo
DeleteYour use of the DSP is fabulous Amanda and stamping the sentiment on a solid colour block really draws the eye. Your Mum will love it! Thanks for joining us at Global Design Project. I hope you will join in again soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you Paula! Mum loved the card, and I'm glad you liked it too. I really enjoyed challenging myself this week xo
DeleteWhat a fun card! Love how you've used the Pretty Petals paper - the bold circle and sentiment work so well against this beautiful backdrop! Thank you so much for playing along with this week's CASE the Designer Challenge at the Global Design Project - I'm glad you did.
ReplyDeleteThank you Brian! I am excited once again that you commented on my post, yippee! ;)

What a pretty way to CASE the layout. I love how you have showcased these beautiful papers. Thanks for playing with Global Design Project.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shawn! I really love these papers, but it's the first time I've used them! I will definitely have to make more with them very soon.
